I hope you had a better weekend than a couple of celebs who made the news for the wrong reasons. NBC sportscaster Al Michaels was arrested in Santa Monica CA for suspicion of driving under the influence. Al became famous during the Lake Placid Olympics when announcing the famous "Miracle on Ice" victory for Team USA over Russia in the 1980 games. He's been the voice of Monday Night Football and NBC's lead announcer on Sunday Night Football for over 20 years.
Actress Reese Witherspoon's husband had his own encounter for allegedly driving drunk in Atlanta early Fri. morning. While the cops had him out of the rented car, Reese rushed to the defense of her man and was arrested for disorderly conduct. While being handcuffed, she allegedly uttered the immortal Hollywood words "don't you know who I am?" She has since apologized and feels embarrassed. Here's a view of her mugshot courtesy of the Atlanta Dept. of Corrections. Just remember, as has been proven more than a few times this wknd. the cops always win!
