Linkin Park has a semi-new album in the works. The band will return next month with Recharged, which will feature new interpretations of songs from last year's Living Things album.
Recharged won't be out until October 29th, but fans can now listen to the first single, a collaboration with popular producer/DJ Steve Aoki called "A Light That Never Comes."
Linkin Park's singer & guitarist Mike Shinoda says the new song is indicative of the band's "commitment to experimentation and pushing boundaries."
Last week fans got a taste of the song by playing a free 3D Facebook game "LP Recharge." The action strategy game unlocked "A Light That Never Comes." Once the track was unlocked, fans were able to listen to it on Xbox Music.
Steve Aoki originally unveiled the song as a surprise during his performance at the Summer Sonic festival in Tokyo, where he was joined on stage by Chester Bennington and Mike Shinoda, and now the song is getting its world premiere on the radio.
