It looks like Blink-182 will be back in action next year. Bassist Mark Hoppus tells "Kerrang!" that he and his bandmates are hoping to get back in the studio in early 2014 to start work on their follow-up to 2011's Neighborhoods.
Hoppus says they haven't thought about any new songs just yet, but he expects that will change once the trio gets together in the same room. Hoppus, Tom DeLonge, and Travis Barker all live in separate cities, but Hoppus says "it all falls into place" once they reconvene and start cracking a few jokes.
Hoppus says they hope to have the new album in stores in the late spring or early summer of next year. But in the meantime, Blink-182 have a string of tour dates on the book. They're scheduled to play the Fort Calgary X-Fest in Calgary, Canada on August 31st.
