Rochester Developer Submits Casino Application Fee

Rochester, NY -- Developer Wilmorite says it has submitted the $1 million application fee to the state Gaming Commission to compete for a license for the casino the company wants to build in Seneca County.

The $350 million casino, hotel, resort and spa would be built near Thruway Exit 41 in the town of Tyre.

The state constitutional amendment approved last fall allows a single casino in the region stretching south from the eastern Finger Lakes to the Southern Tier.
