Rochester, NY -- Democrats in Rochester will choose their nominee for the mayor's race in a party primary Tuesday.
Polling places will be open from noon until 9 p.m. The race pits incumbent Mayor Tom Richards against City Council President Lovely Warren. The winner is assured of an easy path to victory in the general election in November; voter registration in the city tilts heavily to the Democrats.
A Siena College Voice of the Voter poll out Sunday showed 63 percent of Democrats plan to vote for Richards, and 27 percent support Warren.
