Rochester brothers sentenced in cocaine network

Rochester, NY -- Two Rochester brothers are headed to prison for more than 10 years and nearly 6 years for plotting with a third brother to distribute cocaine.

Federalprosecutors say Jamar and Jerrod Mitchell were sentenced yesterday. Like their older brother Joseph, they pleaded guilty for their roles in a drug network that operated in Rochester and Elmira.

Joseph Mitchell was sentenced last week to 25 years in prison for drug and gun charges and for his escape from the Monroe County Jail in 2011. He cut through the window bars with saw blades smuggled into jail inside a Bible .
