Avon, NY -- A Monroe County Sheriff's deputy who was recognized for helping evacuate residents during the West Webster ambush last Christmas Eve, has been arrested in Livingston County.
Robert Glazier was off-duty when he was pulled over Saturday evening on 390 in Avon for DWI with a child in the car.
The Monroe County Sheriff's office says Glazier is on leave and has tendered his resignation.
He was part of a county SWAT team that was awarded certificates of Exceptional Valor from Governor Cuomo for its actions in Webster.
His next court date is next month in Avon.
