Rochester, NY -- Christians United for Israel will hold the Eighth Annual Greater Rochester Night to Honor Israel this evening at Bethel Christian Fellowship on East Avenue.
Program Coordinator Chris Pfohl says world opinion has never been more anti-Israel than it is now -- and the record should be set straight.
He says the gathering is both a show of support and a reminder that Christians have a Biblical obligation to defend Israel. Organizers are calling on leaders in Washington to remain steadfast in supporting Israel.
Featured speakers are expected to include Mayor Lovely Warren, County Executive Maggie Brooks and state Senator Joe Robach.
