Webster, NY -- A Greece resident is facing charges after law enforcement officials say he showed up at a fire scene in Webster claiming to be a Canandaigua firefighter and offering to help.
According to the Monroe Crime Analysis Center, Christopher Schuldt is a former Canandaigua firefighter and is not currently a paid or volunteer firefighter. He was arrested for Aggravated Unlicensed Operator, Unauthorized red and blue lights, and failure to change his address with DMV. Criminal Impersonation charges are pending.
Authorities say there are indications he has shown up at multiple fire scenes in Monroe County trying to assist and claiming to be a member of different fire departments.
