A Greece man has pleaded guilty to online enticement of a minor after exchanging explicit communications with a 13-year-old girl over the internet.
Federal prosecutors said 37-year-old Terrance Junot the Third now faces a minimum ten year prison term when he's sentenced in January.
U.S. Attorney William Hochul said Junot and the child "sexted" each other, trading sexually-explicit photos via smart phone. The teen's mother found the naked photos of the defendant on her daughter's phone, recognized him and called police. Greece Police investigated and called in the FBI.
Hochul said the mother in this case paid attention to what her child was doing online, and a predator has been taken off the street as a result. He said all parents should do the same.
