Gov. Cuomo Proposes Set-Asides for Firms Owned by Disabled Vets

Albany, NY -- Governor Cuomo expects easy passage of a bill reserving six percent of state contracts for businesses operated by disabled veterans.

The proposed legislation would be mandatory for all state agencies.

In announcing the proposal  Thursday, he praised lawmakers for quickly getting behind the bill.

He announced the legislation at a Veterans and Military Families summit in Albany.
