A Rochester father has been charged with second degree murder for causing the death of his nine-month-old son "under circumstances evincing a depraved indifference to human life."
Police charged Maurice "Chris" Faison in the death of Tristen Faison.
The boy's mother called police on September third when she came home to find her infant unresponsive in his crib. The child was rushed to Strong Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead less than an hour later. The Monroe County Medical Examiner's Office ruled the cause of death to be blunt force trauma to the head.
