EXCLUSIVE! Richards: "I Won't Walk Away From It" if Re-Elected

EXCLUSIVE! Richards:

Rochester, NY -- Rochester Mayor Tom Richards is confirming he will serve as mayor if he gets the most votes in Tuesday's election.

He told WHAM 1180's Bob Lonsberry that not serving would mean the city would be without a mayor for a year, and that wouldn't be good for the city.

Meantime, he says he doesn't know who is behind the campaign to re-elect him. Richards hasn't actively campaigned since losing the Democratic primary to Lovely Warren.
