Rochester N.Y.- The Dryden Theatre at George Eastman House will be honoring Philip Seymour Hoffman.
They will do that by screening more than a dozen of the late actor’s films.
Part I of the series "A Tribute to Philip Seymour Hoffman" will begin on Wednesday, July 2 with a showing of Boogie Nights. The series will also include the films Happiness, Magnolia ,State and Main, and his Academy award winning performance in Capote.
Part II of the series will run from September through October. Hoffman , who of course was a native of Fairport, died in February as the result of a heroin overdose.
